In 2 Darn Hot, Jason begins his summer after breaking up with Lucas, alone and depressed. His friends at his job as a waiter tell him the best way to get over an ex-lover is to find a new boyfriend.
Jason meets waiter Jonathan, who is studying to become an actor, and begins a casual fling. Feelings soon get in the way of their casual relationship and Jason and Jonathan have to navigate between becoming closer or drifting apart.
